Macleay Bookshop is a few metres from the El Alamein Fountain, King’s Cross, in the heart of Sydney’s hotel, backpacker and restaurant district.

By train, get out at Kings Cross Station, turn left on Darlinghurst Road (which becomes Macleay Street after  the Fountain) – the Bookshop is 30 metres down on your left.

Bus number 301 has several stops on Macleay Street.

By car, there is on-street parking in the area, and the Kings Cross Parking Station is in Ward Avenue, across the park (Fitzroy Gardens) from the shop.
