What you'll find

Macleay Bookshop is a browsing store with old wooden shelving that forces the books to lie down.

Once you enter you encounter the latest fiction releases before proceeding to a wall of fiction, Australian fiction and crime fiction. To your left is a display of the latest non-fiction releases which backs onto a range of art, design and fashion books. On the back wall is a well-stocked poetry section, children's books and Australian non-fiction.

Coming back down the other side wall are history, health and new age, science, travel and biography books. At the front is a collection of cookbooks unusually placed above a section of philosophy and cultural studies (it's a small shop so space is limited).
