Every book you could want

Macleay Bookshop in Potts Point is one of the few intimate, literary havens remaining in Sydney.

There has been a bookshop at 103 Macleay Street since the 1950's, catering for customers with tastes in quality fiction, biography and history among all the subject areas found in a general bookshop.

While most stores are only stocking the latest mass market releases, Macleay Bookshop passionately retains the greats of world literature: anything from Tolstoy and Faulkner to Thomas Bernhard. This is not to say that there is nothing new under the sun, with the best of new literature being lovingly handpicked and read by our knowledgable staff.
